SHOWER DOORS AND TUB ENCLOSURES:

Shower doors come in many styles and designs.  Frameless or framed, Tashman’s can make you a shower door enclosure that looks great!

FRAMELESS SHOWER DOORS:

½”, 3/8” or ¼” glass can be used to make your shower door.  Each has qualities that can enhance or detract from your shower enclosure. The experts at Tashman’s can explain the differences and options to help you make the best choice for you home.
Decorative hardware is one of the main reasons people like frameless shower doors.   There are many colors, styles, and design options you can choose from to decorate your door; as well as handle, towel bars, knobs and pulls to accent the enclosure.

Frameless shower doors need to be designed better than a framed door. They are more prone to leakage, due to the fact that they have less metal to keep the water in.  Make sure that your tile person properly slopes your dam and walls back into the shower pan so the water will always stay in the shower.

Tub and shower enclosures usually use sliding doors to access the bathtub. There are new designs that accent your enclosure with different types of headers and tracks. There are many types of decorative glass, as well as 3/8” and ¼” thick clear glass.  Towel bars and knobs finish off the doors functional design, as well as make it look great.

FRAMED SHOWER DOORS AND
      TUB ENCLOSURES:

Framed doors offer a less expensive option that is more durable and less likely to leak than frameless doors. Usually framed doors are used in secondary bathrooms and in rental units, but for over seventy-five years they were the dominant type of shower door. They offer many more glass options than frameless doors and come in many different finishes to match your bathroom hardware.
